Accompanied by his family, the midfielder was honored at the River Plate Museum because of his unforgettable performance as keeper in the match against Independiente Santa Fe. The event was attended by Jorge Brito (1st Vice President), Ignacio Villarroel (Secretary), and members of the Board of Directors.

On May 19th, a historic match was played at the Monumental Stadium. On that night, playing against Colombia’s Independiente Santa Fe for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup, Enzo Perez started as goalkeeper due to the COVID-19 mass infection affecting the squad.

Being very committed to his Club and teammates, the midfielder stood in the goal and was one of the starting 11 who were on the playing field, fully devoted to gaining the epic 2-1 win.

On Thursday, November 4th, at the River Plate Museum, the Club paid him a well-deserved tribute by hanging a picture of that night, a glove, and a list of all the keepers during Marcelo Gallardo’s time as manager.
