New friendly in the US, new victory for the team managed by Martín Demichelis as part of their training for this year's matches: with goals by Mammana, Borja and Beltrán, River beat Vasco da Gama 3-0 in Orlando.

At the beginning of the match, the Brazilian team tried to press River but was met by Armani a few times. As minutes went by, River started to control the ball and took over the match after the midfielders teamed up, with Nacho Fernández in the lead, taking advantage of Solari’s and Alfonso’s speed.

As a result of River’s superiority, the team opened the scoring in the 22nd minute: following a foul on the right-hand side, Nacho Fernández passed a perfect cross that was headed by Emanuel Mammana, who scored his second consecutive goal (he had already scored in the match against Millonarios).

Almost at the end of the first half, another frequent goal scorer widened River’s lead: following a great play in which Solari, Nacho and Aliendro tapped the ball short, Borja scored off a low cross from Solari.

In the second half, having made a lot of substitutions, River reaffirmed its superiority and its goal remain unscathed. Toward the end, the team set the final score at 3-0 with a good goal from Beltrán following a good recovery by Casco who pressed upfield.

Thus, River rounded off its US tour with wins against Monterrey, Millonarios and Vasco da Gama. The team will now return to Buenos Aires to finish the preseason.
